Finally managed to screw around with my Behringer Eurorack enough to hit a decent recording quality for my vocals. So everything from Aug. 7 and later should have a more tolerable production quality.

in the short term it would make me happy to go play outside. in the long term, it would make me happier to do well at school and become successful. but in the very long term, i know which will make better memories. calvin and hobbes.

Thanks for the comment and the advice.

I do like doing horrorcore but I basically do whatever comes to mind. I've been wanting to do some sci-fi kind of thing and 2060 is what came to mind when I sat down to write to the beat. There are to many horrorcore songs about "kill, kill, kill". I try to do other types of horror as well.

Yes, it is a computer mic believe it or not. I've heard plenty of people who use them and have a lot of hiss and pops. I basically position myself just right that do spit directly into the mic. It's at an angle from my mouth.

Like some of my friends who also rap have said, post-production is very important. I get rid of the mic hiss pretty easily.

I feel that my two biggest problems are that I have a monotone voice and often sound bored when I rap, but I've been practicing that. Also, when I mix I have a bad habit of making the vocals either to loud or too soft

------------
Anyway how I feel about your music. Your beats are pretty good. I especially like that "Eve of War" one. But it sounds like you have the same snare on a few of them. Try not to use the same sample too many times or your beats will all sound the same.

Your flow sounds good. Your voice sounds ok to me. I've heard much worse. You're should probably try to have a more angry sounding emotion in your voice from what I've heard. For battle rap you sound Ok. I usually dont like battle raps but you sound pretty good.

So keep it up man. If you'd like to collab some time in the future I'd be glad to

Peace.
